Long- and Short-Term Fellowships for Non-Tenured Research Group Leaders

Long-term fellowships are a funding opportunity available to non-tenured group leaders working on biomedically relevant research in Heidelberg who fulfill the requirements for the appointment to professorships. Long-term fellowships are awarded for up to three years with a salary compatible with BAT1a tariff classification.

Short-Term fellowships are awarded to promising junior research group leaders. An awardee's appointment as full professor should be imminent. Fellowships are awarded for six to nine months, and in exceptional cases for up to one year.

Applications following instructions in the requirements section can be submitted at any time as a single PDF file to info@chs-stiftung.de. As a rule, long-term fellowships are made available on May 31st and November 30th.
